Websites to Enrich Your Math Curriculum
EDUCATION PLACE (k-6th)
This site is an extension to the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt textbooks. All you have to do is choose your state, subject, textbook, and get full- access to e-manipulatives and e-games.
KIDSPSYCH (k-4th)
Get you kids thinking! This site helps students build cognitive thinking skills and deductive reasoning using some cool educational games built on Flash animation.
VISUAL MATH (4th-7th)
Pre-algebra and a couple of algebra lessons through insight, concept, and perception.
GHOST BLASTERS (3rd-8th)
Some teachers believe that learning the multiples of numbers will allow students to become proficient in multiplication and division. This site allows students to blast unfriendly ghosts that have multiples of a certain chosen number. The game has a built-in timer which can allow you to keep computer time monitored.
PowerPoints and Keynote presentations are excellent methods of presenting your lessons. Before you create one, visit these sites to find what you are looking for.

MATHTV.COM (4th-12th)
Choose a math skill, then a teacher and hit play. Students can watch a real teacher explain basic mathematics to calculus. This site has a lot of potential. You can have kids
watch these videos from their classroom or home, or use them as a whole class review during your lesson. These videos make an excellent supplement to your instruction.
MATHMOVESU (3rd-8th)
Talk about giving students an opportunity to play. Kids will enjoy the games, while learning math concepts. No account is necessary, but if kids want to track their points and their progress, then they might want to ask their parents for permission to sign-up. Explore the site and you will soon know what I’m talking about.

UTAH EDUCATION NETWORK (K-12th)
Students Interactive activities for math students in K to 12th grade. In addition to math websites, you will find other subjects to choose from. Like Math Games, this site also has plenty of fun learning games for children of many ages. Keep on reading, here comes some more.
MATH PLAYGROUND (K-6th)
According to the site, students can “play with numbers and give their brain a workout.” They have some great virtual manipulatives for teaching and learning. The great big graphics from the main page will grab your attention, but be sure to check out the side bar for extra content.
WHAT’S MY ANGLE (3rd-8th)
Don’t be fooled by the picture on the side here. This is a powerful site to teach about angles. This site covers ten topics in a quick and easy to use format. The virtual protractor is great for practice as a whole class or individual activity.
INTERACTIVE 100 CHART (K-6th)
According to Crickweb, they have over 150 educational interactive resources that include a big blue calculator. The resources are not only math related. However, they have managed to turn the classic 100 chart teaching tool and turned it into an interactive tool that you can customize. Here’s another Alternate Site
CHART TOOL (3rd-8th)
Many people seem to get scared away from making charts using Microsoft Excel. Well, here’s an excellent alternative. This site takes you through 5 easy steps to create and design your own graphs and charts online. Once finished, you can print it or email it.
FUN 4 THE BRAIN (K-4th)
A site that is definitely geared towards the young ones. Kids get to practice and master their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts while playing online games. There is also a few English and Science games on this site.
MATH MAGICIAN (1st-6th)
Mastering math facts is necessary for students to attain higher-order math skill. This site allows students the practice necessary to attain automaticity. During a minute, students must answer 20 math facts in order to pass the level. Simple, but powerful.
LURE OF THE LABYRINTH (6th-8th)
Use as a standalone program for a whole class interactive lesson, or have students sign-up for their free account with parent permission. Students become mathematician through their narrative journey. Middle school pre-algebra students will definitely enjoy this.
MATH INTERACTIVES (4th-8th)
“A multimedia resource includes interactive math activities, print activities, learning strategies, and videos that illustrate how math is used is everyday life.” Most topics include at least one major interactive, short video, and support materials.
THAT QUIZ (1st-8th)
This is online assessment tool for teachers of all subjects and grade levels. However, it has many more math quizzes of any one kind. It’s great for students to practice skills, however it may also be used to assess students if you register for free. Then you have the ability view how students are progressing.
